TSI Testing
Description
Sign-up to take your TSI to better prepare for upcoming SOAR: Admitted Student Day and/or your advising appointment! We will have tests at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. proctored by our very own Admissions team members. Your first two tests are free, so sign up today so we can get you ready to SOAR at TAMUT!
The Texas Success Initiative assessment is comprised of Mathematics, ELAR (Reading/Writing), and Essay sections. Texas law requires all entering college students to be assessed for college readiness in these subjects, unless the student qualifies for an exemption. Each student who fails to meet the minimum passing standard of the exam must be placed in a course or intervention designed to help the student achieve college readiness.
